I have been always interested in seafaring and ships. I have a collection of various engineering drawings and other material on ships, as well as designs of my own, here are few of them.

Various existing ship documents.

Finnhansa General layout (pdf).. Finnhansa General layout (png, large).. Finnhansa General layout (pdf, large).. Finnhansa was a ferry for Helsinki - Nynäshamn - Karlskrona - Lübeck - Slite - Helsinki route, later Helsinki - Nynashamn - Travemünde route.

Brochure for Finnjet ferry. Finnjet was a groundbreaking high-speed ferry for Helsinki-Travemünde Route, which requires 30+ knot speed for daily schedule. Finnjet was equipped with gas turbine engines to achieve that speed. Due to increasing fuel cost, diesel-electric propulsion was later added for winter schedule, to allow cost-effective operation at slower speeds during winter time.

Ship plans and drawings by myself.

When I was young (age maybe 14 to 16) I drew various ships, as I was planning to follow into ship engineering and design. I took many ideas from existing ships, while some of the plans are original. After I tried to write software for ship design, I got sucked into computer science so I changed careers.
